Academics at Miramar High School - Core Courses and Resources
At Miramar High, we’re committed to helping every Patriot reach their full potential. Our teachers work together in Professional Learning Communities to ensure lessons are aligned to standards and focused on critical thinking. Students benefit from rigorous coursework, including Honors and Advanced Placement classes, and ongoing support through after-school tutoring and personalized interventions.
English
English and Language Arts engage students in reading, writing, speaking, and
listening experience.
Mathematics
Mathematics encourages students to explore, describe observations, explain
methods used when problem-solving, and ask questions.
Social Studies
Students learn concepts in the areas of Geography, World History, American
History, Economics with Financial Literacy, and Government.
Science
Science education extends students' understanding of the world around us through
scientific inquiry, laboratory activities, and technological experiences.
