Jerome Edmund Gray Youth Achiever
Miramar High School senior Jason Green is this year's Jerome Edmund Gray Youth Achiever award recipient. The announcement was made at the JM Family, Southeast Toyota and JM Lexus 20th annual African-American Achievers awards ceremony on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at the Broward County Convention Center.
As part of the honor, Jason received a four-year scholarship to attend Florida State University. Presented by The Jim Moran Foundation, Inc., with funding provided through the Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship at Florida State University, each year a high school senior who qualifies for financial aid and has applied and received admission to FSU, receives a four-year, needs-based scholarship. An outstanding Miramar High student, Jason is a member of the National Honor Society and International Baccalaureate (IB) magnet program.
